Privacy Policy

Last updated October 30, 2026

This website is run by MC EXCAVATION LLC, a Tennessee company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you visit the site or send a project request, how we use it, who handles it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you send a quote request, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, phone number, the service you need, the project location, a description of the project, your email address if you choose to give it, and up to 3 photos if you add them. When you visit the site, Google Analytics collects basic visit information (see "Google Analytics" below). Like any website host, Vercel processes your IP address to deliver the pages to you.

How we use it

We use your request only to call you back about your project, plan a visit to the site, and give you a quote. We use the visit information from Google Analytics only to see how people find and use the website, so we can make it better. We do not use your details for anything else.

Photos you send

You can attach up to 3 photos. When they arrive, each photo is re-encoded and all location and camera data is removed. The photos are stored privately, never on a public page. We open them only through signed links that expire after 30 days, and we use them only to understand and quote your project.

Who handles your information

A few companies handle information for us so the website can work. Vercel hosts the website and keeps your photos, and any request that could not be delivered, in private storage. Resend delivers your request to us by email. Google provides Google Analytics. Each one may use the information only to provide its service to us.

Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics, provided by Google, to measure how visitors find and use it. It sets cookies and collects information such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, how long you stay, the page or search you came from, and whether you tapped our phone number or sent a request. Nothing you type into the project form is sent to Google. Google handles this information under its own policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. To opt out, install Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Cookies and browser storage

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser so it can tell one visit from the next. The site also uses your browser's own storage for one small job: remembering that a request you sent has already been counted, so a reload does not count it twice. You can block or clear cookies and site storage in your browser settings at any time. The website and the project form still work without them.

We do not sell or share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. The only companies that handle it are the providers named above, and only to run this website for us. We would share information beyond that only if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Your photos, and any request whose email could not be delivered, are kept in private storage for at most 90 days and then deleted automatically. A request that reaches us by email stays in our email for as long as we need it to quote and do the work and to keep our business records.

Age

This website is meant for adults 18 or older. Please do not send a project request if you are under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Seeing or deleting your information

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, call (423) 599-2756 or email us at the address at the bottom of this page. We will ask enough to confirm it is you, and then take care of it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If you keep using the website after a change, the new version applies from then on.
